The guys at Fish really have pulled out all the stops on their new designed ranges of Troutmaster Rods. These follow on from the original Still Water range which has proven to be one of the best value for money fly fishing rods in the UK today.

The  4 piece 9ft Troutmaster weighs in at a very feathery feeling 117 grams. The guys at fish designed the latest Troutmaster range to fish still water fishery or river fishing. Cast using 6 – 7 weight type lines. The action on the rod is designed to be middle to top action which is mid way fast. The rod houses a very strong casting action not to mention the very little lateral wobble you will get with inferior rods. The range is designed to throw out a great length of line. Ideal for any beginner or accomplished fly caster alike.

The finish is gloss black with hard chrome snake ring eyes. A fly keeper eye and the two bottom guide eyes are ceramic coated to ease with line run through. The handle is a very comfortable cork scroll. The handle has a eva foam tip coupled with a fixed extension butt which is great for balance. Of course team here at fish had the 9ft rod out at our local fishery. It really does show a well built rod. A quality rod that you can fish all day with very little fatigue. The rod comes packed as standard in a black FISH branded cotton rod sock. It will be packed safely for shipping to prevent damage also.
