Current England Stillwater Fly Fishing team captain Lee Cartmail becomes Fish Fishing Flies brand ambassador.
Fish Fishing Flies are delighted to announce their partnership with Lee Cartmail and welcome him to the Fish Fishing Flies family as our brand ambassador. Lee is the current England fly fishing team still water captain and is also the Bank National Qualifier co-ordinator. Lee brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team here at Fish Fishing Flies.
We are extremely proud and excited to have Lee onboard with us here at Fish, it is a delight to share our passion and ethos with him. Lee is heavily invested in our sport, having started out with his Dad teaching him Fly Fishing on the local river Esk. Lee still remembers that feeling when he landed his first brown trout like it was yesterday. He was bitten by the competition bug in 2014 and secured his 1st England cap in 2017, a year later secured his 2nd Cap for England. Lee has gone on now to secure his 3rd England Cap for the Loch Style events.
Like the guys here at Fish Fishing Flies Lee’s main ambition is to make our wonderful sport, sustainable, affordable and introduce as many new fly fishers to the sport as possible. Lee often gives up a day on the weekend to hold masterclass sessions at his local fishery teaching the next generations on successful and sustainable Fly Fishing.
Coming to the Fish Fishing Flies website soon will be a selection of Lee’s competition Barbless flies and a hints and tips section on how to fish them. There will be a section which you can ask Lee any Fly Fishing related questions. Whether it is how to fish certain flies or hints, tips and techniques which will improve your days sport. There are very few people more qualified to give you the help and advice which will make the sport better all round.
